Pyango Is Now the Official Tech Partner of Founder Institute Switzerland

This one feels big for us. We're now the official tech partner of Founder Institute Switzerland, which means we're working directly with founders going through their 14-week program — helping them get from idea to something they can actually put in front of users.

Meeting the new cohort

We just had our virtual meet-and-greet with the newest batch of founders signing up for the program. Even over video, you could tell this group was serious. There's a specific kind of energy you get from people who've decided to actually do the thing instead of just talking about it, and this cohort had it.

As tech partners, we've put together packages specifically for FI participants. The idea was simple: founders at this stage don't need a massive development contract. They need to test whether their idea holds up — fast, cheap, and with enough quality that the feedback they get is actually useful.

What we're offering FI founders

We built three tiers because not every founder is at the same point. Some need to validate an idea before investing further. Others are past validation and ready to build for real.

Validation Hack Starter Pack — 1,500 CHF

This is for founders in the earliest stages who need something tangible to show users and test assumptions against. It includes:

A clickable Figma prototype, up to 5 screens
A validation checklist and coaching to go with it
2-week turnaround
Loom videos walking through everything we deliver
2 revision rounds on the prototype
Project management setup (Kanban board and a Discord channel)
One call with our product team

The point isn't to build a product. It's to build enough of a product that you can learn whether people actually want it.

Validation Hack Starter Pack Plus — 2,000 CHF

Same as above, plus the stuff you need if you're going to put something online and start driving traffic to it:

A landing page
Full branding package — colors, typeface, style guide
An extra revision round covering the branding and landing page
One additional call with our product team

For 500 CHF more, you go from "I have a prototype to show people in person" to "I have a web presence I can send people to." That's a meaningful difference when you're trying to collect email signups or run early ads.

Product as a Service — subscription model

For founders who've validated their idea and are ready to actually build the thing, we offer monthly subscription plans:

Essentials — 2,800 CHF/month
Priority — 4,200 CHF/month
VIP — 9,500 CHF/month

All three include full-service product development, design, consulting, and coaching. The difference between tiers is speed and level of support. Essentials gets you solid, steady progress. VIP gets you a team that's essentially embedded in your startup.

Why these packages exist

We've watched enough early-stage founders burn through their savings on full custom development before they even knew if anyone wanted what they were building. It's painful to see, and it's avoidable.

The validation packages exist because we think the first money a founder spends on tech should go toward answering one question: does anyone care? Not toward building a polished product nobody asked for. Figma prototypes and landing pages are cheap enough to throw away if the answer is no — and that's exactly the point. You want your early experiments to be disposable.

The subscription tiers exist because once you know people want it, you need to move fast without committing to a six-figure development contract before you've even closed your seed round.

What this means going forward

We're genuinely excited about this. FI's program is rigorous — they're known for it — and the founders who come through tend to be the ones who actually follow through. Working with them at the stage where technical decisions matter most feels like the right place for us to be.
